Old Country Pizza
About This Spot
Walking into Old Country Pizza on Bedford Street feels like stepping into a quietly cherished neighborhood spot where time slows down just enough to savor simple, honest food and friendly company. The warm hum of kitchen chatter blends with the comfort of familiar faces behind the counter, creating an atmosphere that’s instantly welcoming and effortlessly relaxed. It’s not a place of flashy buzz or pretension, but rather a reassuring presence that welcomes both hurried weekday dinners and lingering weekend family meals.
The pace here is unhurried, reflective of a place that’s been a steady fixture in East Bridgewater for years. Ordering feels like a small ritual, where the folks working the grill and the register greet you with an easy kindness that lingers long after the food arrives. This isn’t just about grabbing a meal; it’s about feeling seen on a busy day or finding a reliable comfort during a routine errand.
The menu embraces the classics without fuss, offering hearty, generous-sized portions that speak to a Midwest-style love for sustenance—think pizzas that come layered with plenty of toppings and salads that balance fresh flavors with heartier ingredients like grilled chicken. Whether you’re picking up a box of their signature Greek-style pizza or a comforting plate of chicken tenders with sides, the food carries the kind of straightforward satisfaction that invites you back again and again.
What completes the experience here is the quiet warmth of the people running the place—folks who clearly know the rhythms of their community and take pride in serving not just good food, but genuine moments of connection. At Old Country Pizza, the moment you step inside and the taste of that first bite make it clear: this is a place where neighbors, families, and even the occasional rival pizza fan find a little space and a good meal to call home.

nice people! felt out of place coming here in my work shirt thats a rival pizza parlor but. Pizza hear is great, plenty of toppings and my family loves it. people inside are nice and i was served right at closing time running late from work! been ordering here for 2 years now and its nothing but a great hole in the wall pizza parlor. Basic menu but really good food. My father tried the pizza for the first time tonight and he will be a regular. really worth your buck.

I love this place! Will keep going back! Very good greek style pizza! Never had a bad meal from them. The two guys who work there are very kind and I’ve had nothing but amazing service from them. They go out of their way to show me kindness and I appreciate their hard work very much! 5 stars. 100% recommended!

Excellent food. Their regular portions of pasta dinners last days for me. Their Chicken Broccoli Alfredo is the best I've ever had. Their subs are delicious, my favorite is their Turkey Cobbler, which you may have to ask specifically by calling. It's not on the menu but they'll do it for you. Five stars all around in my opinion.

50 out of 5 It's that good. I was driving somewhere tonight and I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I expected a nice decent piece of fluffy New England pizza - but it was even better than I expected. Couple of nice old guys in there who really knew what they were doing. I took it home and took a couple bites and it was good, then I put it in the toaster oven for a little bit and it was just absolutely stellar. I'll definitely have to put this on my list of favorites.

The young kid at the counter was friendly as well as what I'd assume to be the owners. Haven't tried to food yet but it smells good. Only concern i have, which has been mentioned in other reviews, is the lack of gloves. I don't not care about gloves being worn while food is being prepped, thats actually not required. But what worries me is the gentleman working grill going from the grill to the cash register. Also, no gloves were being worn while fully cooked food was being cut. They would get flagged instantly during a health inspection for that. I did not leave a low review because I am hoping the owners take that into consideration. Food safety should be a concern. Other than the glove issue, these men clearly work very hard for their business.
